π FIRST Regional Symposium β A Historic Event for Central Asia
On February 26β27, 2026, the βFirst Regional Symposium for Central Asia β 2026β was held at Inha University in Tashkent. The event was organized with the support of the Cybersecurity Center and within the framework of FIRST , marking it as the first major international symposium of its kind in the region.
βοΈ Over the course of two days, international experts delivered insightful presentations on topics such as threat hunting and threat modeling methodologies, ethical hacking and malware analysis, national early warning systems, bug bounty platforms, cyber resilience, and incident response processes.
The second day of the event began with speeches by Bobur Abdullaev (Rector of Inha University in Tashkent), Chris Gibson (Executive Director of FIRST), and Olimjon Mirzaev (Director of the Cybersecurity Center).
π Members of our schoolβs Nodex cybersecurity club, along with a group of active students, actively participated in this prestigious international event and gained valuable knowledge and hands-on experience from leading global experts.
